I’m a civil engineer with 14 years' experience working for general construction and construction consulting companies.
I specialize in water-related work such as designing hydroelectric power generation facilities, managing dam construction, and port facility design.
I received a prize for seismic design from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism through the company I was working for at the time.
I currently have three jobs.
The first is as a civil structural design engineer, where my expertise is rivers, marine and coastal design.
The second is tutoring elementary and junior high school students.
The third is as an advisor and a consultant for construction technology. This is a rather rare profession in Japan.
